A big warm congratulations to Alisa of Ink Caravan for winning this years 2012 Umbrella Prints Trimmings Competition People's Choice Award.
We have to say we totally agree with the popular vote... Alisa's stunning work has just ticked all the boxes hasn't it... a beautiful & thoughtful story told through the sweetest illustrations (which make our fabric look amazing).
It was a ridiculously close call this year with us having to actually go in and check for accidental double pins to get the accurate number of votes. Natani Blanket by kcalgary was only one vote behind so we have to give that effort a big warm hug as well!!!
And congratulations to all of the creative people who made such gorgeous items this year... I suggest going in and taking a closer look at the entries ... I'm afraid the little Pinterest photos just don't do some of the works justice! There are so many little sweet details, we hope to share more of them over the coming weeks.
