De Slootjesschilder quilt


























And speaking of wonderfully talented quilter's look what we found by way of our Flickr group x.
Lotje is a printmaker from the Netherlands and makes wonderful quilts from eclectic mixes of fabrics including Umbrella Prints- featured here is our Elephants on Kyoto Blue. Her love of texture and pattern is delicious and shows a sublime balance of softness and graphic. Lotje's blog is De Slootjesschilder

    Hi Jody! That is so true the black fabrics really pop out in this quilt; the textures in the black fabrics soften them a bit too; Lotje has a great eye xxx
